CURRENT STATUS

Assembly of the flight model of the SXRP is now complete. The flight model has completed environmental testing at Sandia National Laboratories and scientific calibration at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The instrument is now undergoing extensive functional testing and should be delivered to Russia during the summer of 1997. Launch of the SXG spacecraft is scheduled for late 1998. Information in regards to applying for SXRP observing time will be provided on the front page shortly thereafter.
