MidTerm 1 Sep 30, 2:35 pm - 3:35 pm Rm 2. The exam will be closed book, a combination of multiple choice and homework like questions. In case of multiple choice, you should write a sentence justifying your answer. The Exam will cover on Ch 1,2,3,4 and ch 5 (only sections 1 and 2). The rest of ch 5 will be covered later in the course.
Homework from Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 have the same problem numbers. In chapter 3, instead of 42, do 39 and 40. You can hand it in next Tuesday, Sep 28. Solutions will be posted from the website on the assignment page.
