Catalog Description | The emphasis in this course is on the rigorous structure of classical physics and the development of the ability to solve problems. Topics include mechanics, heat, and sound. This course is part of a four-semester sequence (029:027-028-029-030) intended primarily for physics and astronomy majors. The three weekly lectures and one-hour discussion are given by a professor, and the weekly lab is conducted by a TA. |
