I am a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Iowa.

I moved here in August 2014 from the Bay Area, where I spent ~16 years as a graduate student, postdoc, and research scientist.

I now live in Iowa City (on the east side) with my wife, my two sons, and our two crazy dogs.
