Description:
This is the second semester of a two-semester sequence covering electricity and magnetism. This semester will cover electrodynamics, electromagnetic waves, radiation, and relativity, as in Ch. 7-12 of Griffiths. We will focus on building a strong conceptual understanding of electrodynamics and developing skills and experience in problem solving. This course utilizes vector calculus extensively. Reading and homework assignments will be given on the course web page. The three weekly lectures are given by Prof. Halekas.
